Love it. Is this Freemont street in Vegas? Great composition.

kufever (Yvette) said 1 year ago:

It sure is. Thanks!

Blizzard (Beef Jerky) said 1 year ago:

Oh, the old Glitter Gulch. I've always wanted to go inside that place and check it out. Next time I go to Vegas I just might.

Great shot and good choice to go B&W. :)

cloud_star123 (me bob) said 11 months ago:

i little inappropriate, kids can also use this website!

kufever (Yvette) said 11 months ago:

First of all it's a sign - posted in a very public place.

Second, there is nothing inappropriate about this photo - the figure of the sign is fully clothed.

And third, parents should know what their kids are looking at on the internet and they can be the judge.

It can't be you, unless you've got a male pen name.

Very nice scene. It's like movie that has been pauzed and you want to see what is coming.

That is incredible. What was your setup? Seems that this would be so tough to take... Great job.

dcrphotography (Daniel) said 1 year ago:

Immpressive macro.

anke-art (Anke Arnold) said 1 year ago:

Thank you! It was a mere snapshot - I didn't believe it would turn out so good :)

I took the photo with my ordinary Lumix DMC-LS3, no special equipment.

clunkity (Dennis) said 1 year ago:

haha, yikes! This shot really stands out! Good job.

I have been shooting many Tipulidae crane flies, but never under this particular angle, excellent !

Udower (Udo Weier) added a critique 1 year ago:

Very strong. A portrait without softness. Very expressive.

sunside (Markus Mayer) added a critique 1 year ago:

I'm not too happy with this soft look. It reminds me a bit of HDR photos with large halos or that effect you'll get when you superimpose (burn, screen, whatever) a gaussian sharpening filter with a large radius.
Somehow the sharpness at her eyes don't match the sharpness at her mouth; This, and the softness at her nose is distracting me, I think.

Blizzard (Beef Jerky) added a critique 1 year ago:

Excellent photograph!
Tones are right on.
The focus is where it needs to be, the eyes.
She is a very beautiful and strong subject.
Her face reminds me of the women seen in 18th century paintings.

Well done.

latekelem added a critique 1 year ago:

Perfect both technically and aesthetically.

bradford (Bradford Levine) added a critique 1 year ago:

Fantastic portrait. Are her eyes slightly different colors?

psychodudu (Andrew Parker) said 1 year ago:

I agree with LittleMonkey there is a slight resemblance....

Janco (Johny in Malbork) said 1 year ago:

It is very nice abstract,
I look this photo over. In my opinion it is the best poto in gallery. And it is first sexy abstract like wrote philippe.
:)

Beam_er (Brent) said 1 year ago:

I was thinking those were some very smooth knees, then the light bulb went off. I would comment further, but my wife is in the room.

Lamdennison (Leigh-Anne Dennison) said 1 year ago:

At least I'm not the only one who thought they were knees for a moment...

The lighting is great. This to me demonstrates the art of sensual art photography. Or, as my mom might say, "it leaves something to the imagination," which is always a little sexier imho.
