I was waiting for this to be featured in panorama as well. Should have been the first. Excellent shot.

Nice one. Did he pose for you? Or are you the beneficiary of a great seat?

Actually not to bad of a job.
Cloning just takes time, patience and practice.
Very nice if this is only the second attempt!
The real trick, is to avoid having to do it!

There's a softness to this image. Great job on the 'cloning'...
Blizzard (Beef Jerky) added a critique 9 days ago:
I can actually tell where you cloned it. I looked at the original afterwards and it confirmed I was right. With cloning, beware of repeated patterns. For example, around the fur and nose areas I can see repetition in texture. Also, the bottom of the ear doesn't look quite right. I can also see cloning in the dark area on the left-hand side.
If you feel like you have to clone, then go over the sections that you did with a healing brush to break up those patterns. Though, you would have to do much more than a healing brush to reconstruct the bottom of a goat's ear.
You didn't do too bad of a job, it just needs to be cleaned up a bit.
(Honestly, I like the untouched version better. Next time, try to shoot around the fence to avoid unnecessary photo touch-ups. Afterall, it takes less time to wait for the goat to move for a good shot than it is to remove a fence in photoshop.)

Jessa, you've got a point by not showing the original.
I agree with Blizzard, not cloning is the most best thing to do, always try to avoid it. But if you really has to, do it invisible :)
Good luck with another photo's wich need some cloning. I hope our comments help you, you're on the right way.

I've seen your other picture with the fence. Pretty nice work I would say. I'm not a cloner myself, but I'm amazed at what can be done with it.

Hey Martine, I really like the x-processing that you have used here, it really adds to the mood of the image.
MMeye (Martine) said 7 months ago:
Thank you, Tracy. I had tried another version in B&W, I have hesitated, but finally I also preferred this one.
