My film experiment continues, shot on Delta 100, processed at home in my kitchen sink, first roll since college(many decades ago)!! Scanned on an Epson Perfection 4990 @4800dpi.

Cool! Sometimes I think it's a pity there are digital camera's now. A whole part of making a photo is gone now, the younger generation like me is missing the magic of waiting before you can see your photo is well made etc. I miss it in my daily job, too (x-ray photographer). My older colleages worked with a dark room! I only have to press 'accept' and the photo will be stored.

Now, about your photo. :) The anle you shot it, is perfect. Lots of people would take this photo staight before the binoculars. Nice DOF. The 'face' seems to have a smile. Did someone actually draw it on the binoculars or did you pp it as a joke?

@Tamara, nope, it's on there, kinda like a crack in the metal. Thanks for the comments as always!!

This is a good BW. Nothing to critique technically.

On an artistic side, even though this one is reminiscent of WALL-E, it lacks something to have impact in my eyes, perhaps the body and the extremities, if any :). Very human-like, but something important is missing; sorry can't say it better.

Hey Clyde, nice sharp shot here with a great sense of fun. I like the choice of square format too, or are you using medium format equipment (although the neg doesn't look like it) and that is the size of the neg? I am relatively new to photography as a serious hobby and I mostly use film - I couldn't get over how easy and relatively inexpensive it is to get started (and gear is darn near indestructible). I am interested to know what equipment you shot this with and the developer you used.

I would absolutely hang this photo in my house. Love the texture and playfulness of this photo. Very retro!
