Nice photo! The composition is good, and the focus is sharp and spot on!
The lens flare on the other hand ruins the photo in my opinion. It is also too overexposed. Other than that, good :)

One man's "ruin" is another man's "salvation"!! To me what makes this image special and worth posting is the lens flare and the hot rim lighting. Otherwise, it's just a gull flying overhead. I've got hundreds of those, none spoke to me like this one...
