ok, now i understand ;)
incredible!
i like the different phases very much, especially the red ones.
maybe it's a bit too much in this single photo, that was my first impression..but actually i've no idea how to show the eclipse better... will think about that.
must have been very impressive for you during shooting! :)

Awesome composition.......some science teacher would kill for a poster of this.

Absolutely grat post process work, but I would have seen better this image under a different theme, "Long Exposure" maybe.

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 11 months ago:

Thanks for the praise, the longest exposure on this page is 2 seconds.

Awesome shots.
I was to lazy to get up and catch this!
Wonderful presentation.
I especially like the red phases also!

taikrixel (thomas mueller) added a critique 11 months ago:

wow. that's a really impressive composition of the different phases of the moon.

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 11 months ago:

@taikrixel This is not the "phases" of the moon, this is a sequential shoot of a total lunar eclipse from last week. One shot every 15 minutes.

lolly (lolly smits) added a critique 11 months ago:

I like the idea and the obvious hard work you have put in. Only one thing, I'd like to see the main big image of the moon to be just a little sharper! Otherwise, very impressive!

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 11 months ago:

@lolly: Yeah, your right. I had to play with the red ones a bit... Barely felt like I knew what I was doing that night.... Once the moon went into the full eclipse mode, I had to go to longer exposures and you'd be surprised how much the moon moves in 2 seconds...

lolly (lolly smits) added a critique 11 months ago:

Yes, I do! It's a bit like taking sunset cloud shots, the sky changes very quickly. At least you had a go; I certainly couldn't do it!

mrsmorunion (Tammy Runion) added a critique 11 months ago:

This is just beautiful! Just amazing!
