fun take on self portraits. If you could do it again, I'd consider rotating a bit so the squirrel is more in the corner of the shot (and it's reflection is more visible) although getting the birds and squirrel like that again is probably not an easy task :)

jasonkravitz, you can't control situations like this, these are real live animals living wild in the park. You set it up and hope for the best. I was there most of the day trying for a half decent shot. :-)

koo88, LoL, the subject was myself as a photographer! The seagulls and ducks were terrified of the mirror from any side and wouldn't get close at all. The Squirrels were leery of it and it was funny watching them try to get at a nut that was right up against the mirror. They'd make a go for it, see their reflection and jump back! None of them ever managed to get that nut. Bless'em.

PS....it's quite difficult to take a photo in a mirror and get anything else in focus around you. You've actually got to double the distance. Perhaps I'd have better luck on a brighter day when I can increase the DOF to the max! :-D

I like it, it's such a pleasing shot with a variety of vivid colors, the subject is nice and clear. The squirrel is great and the birds are just an added bonus. Good shot. Pretty location.
