Yes, like a painting.

Looks nothing like water to me. Could be cotton wool or cloud....I think we tend to get all too excited about this sort of image that essentially abstracts water so much that it no longer resembles itself any longer. Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful, dreamy image, well worthy of a feature....but perhaps not in this theme.

I'll have to disagree with Psychodudu about the relevance to the topic. ;) I think it fits quite well here. To me this image focuses on the movement of the water rather than the water itself, but it's still clearly water.

In any event, we do both agree that it's a great image regardless of context.

This is a stunning photo....period. It takes a lot to get these kind of images right.

Gosh, I really think this image exemplifies the very essence of water ... ethereal, every moving, ever changing, all around us. By the way Andrew, remember that clouds ARE water. Doesn't look at all like cotton to me.

But then, it just goes to show how we all interpret topics/themes entirely differently
