the picture is nice, but not atumnal enough for the topic. I think if the reflection was more colorful (gold/red) this would be a stronger image overall and a great fit for the topic.

I generated the HDR image in photomatix. I then opened it in photoshop and drove up the contrast and added some color adjustments.
