I agree with Tony. I'd like the crop only if there was an archnemesis or barbie doll toy in the background to give it some story. Otherwise I think it is good.

We have turtles like this down at the canal by me, but I can never sneak up on them sunning. I love the deep colors and DOF.

I have also been unsuccessful sneaking up on these guys when they are sunning themselves. They move pretty quick when they want to plop into the water.

This is a lovely one, a favorite. It reminds me of long summer days at the farm by the ponds.

@methan: it was a little bit like a nuke blast must feel, because of 118 degrees fahrenheit and perceived humidity like 120%... ;) the sun was burning so hard that i had to interrupt my shots every few minutes to cool down in the car...
