Misu, I'm not taken Ana's photo serieus. To me, you are the first :)
Ana (Ana Cortez) said 7 months ago:
I love her pose (and I agree with Susie..OUCH).
However, the halo and brightness of her skin near the black areas takes away from what could be an amazing photograph.
Either too much processing up there, or not the right background.

Excellent shot!! The pose is a classic.

Yep, and there is nothing interesting in there :)

Very nicely captured. I know how difficult it is for the camera to properly expose this kind of shot. These usually look great to our eyes, but lose the magic on film. You have held on to the magic! Great work!

nice tones, and i like the dramatic sense of the picture. this kind of pictures give you a feeling when you look at them thats why i like it!!
crahan (Thomas Bouve) added a critique 11 months ago:
I get a very eerie feel from this image. A bit disturbing even (which I guess was the intention of the photographer). Well done on nailing the exposure too.

Nice happy shot
Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 11 months ago:
The subject is very cute and a clever idea. It's a bit too dark and the black and white tones are very muddy. There is not enough contrast to my eye.

Looks magical too me!
I really like that moss on the ground as well.
Lamdennison (Leigh-Anne Dennison) said 11 months ago:
Wow! I love this shot. I agree with Carl that it has a magical quality to it. Seems like something out of Lord of the Rings or Alice in Wonderland. The mushrooms look like trees. And, the lighting is perfect. Great job!
MMeye said 10 months ago:

What a rush to be in the right place at the right time. This light is every photog's dream. This almost looks like a painting. Very nice. Is this a collapsed building?

ive seen alot of pictures like this.. but one reanson i like this the most is becaue. just the like sad, tired look on the dogs face..and the eyes you can really see the emotion just makes the picture soo much better.

Excellent portrait. I love the B&W processing, and above all the way you make the viewer "dive" directly into the eyes. Very well done.

This is out of a magazine, right?
storage said 11 months ago:
Why?
No, it's not.
jvgphoto (jon van gilder) said 11 months ago:
Nice shot! The foreground snow-covered branch is beautiful, but maybe a bit overpowering - a little distracting from the subject. One final note - there is a shadow on the subject's left cheek which maybe should be dealt with. Lovely light and colors - nice composition.
Best,
Jon
mysight (Carl H. Sr.) said 11 months ago:
Hi storage.Your photo looks as good as the work in any fine magazine to me.
I think it is a great shot.
Andriy (Andriy Zolotoiy) said 11 months ago:
Clone out that that shadow on the cheek. Otherwise, it's great.
Why am I not surprised Misu is the first who adds a photo to this topic? Hahaha.
Really good job, misu!
