Ana, I agree with lolly and Clyde on this one regarding the composition. I think that the subject is very nice and your treatment of it is very engaging - perhaps a square frame taken from the top (cropping the space at the bottom) would work better?

Ana,
This is an outstanding photograph. Your composition is spot on - don't change a thing. Lovely work.
Best,
Jon

Very good idea ! I think this image would have worked also well with a square format.
AnaGaztelu (Ana Gaztelu) said 10 months ago:
Gracias a los dos.
Es cierto, MMeye, que en formato cuadrado resultaría también interesante, no se me había ocurrido...

Cheer and very beautiful image. You knew given depth to this landscape. A little more clearness and contrast would have surely brought more to the image. But, it is nothing when one sees already this sight.
CraigMartin (Craig Martin) added a critique 11 months ago:
Two thoughts - I think that better focus and sharpening would greatly enhance the shot, and second, I think it would be more interesting if much of the sky was cropped out. The interesting aspect is the road that draws your eye into the distance, and so the upper half of sky doesn't add to that.
grahambo (Graham Siebe) added a critique 10 months ago:
It seems like it might be just a bit overexposed or have too much contrast. I would like to be able to see more depth in the hill.
Pixim is probably right about the resizing and sharpening. A little USM might put a little more punch into the dirt, grass and fence. You might want to set up a separate layer so you don't sharpen the sky as much.

Thank you for your commentaries, they are of great help.

I disagree wholeheartedly with grahambo. I think the image would be better suited with more contrast. It does not appear overexposed to me either. Perhaps it's simply a matter of taste, but the very first thing I thought when I first looked at the image was "more contrast".

Jordan
Felicidades Ana, ume gusta mucho la composición y el encuadre de este macro.
