This is a really nice shot. I like the way the railing leads the eye up and gradually disappears. I also like the lighting affect on the gold color, it changes as the viewer follows the picture upwards. Nice capture. Where is this taken?

I like this one, sorta surreal!! For an alternate, more abstract framing try cropping off the left and bottom so the lower left corner is just in the negative space beyond the red ball. I did the "scroll bar crop" and liked it there. See what you think??

this is a great capture. I'd probably run the contrast up a bit to make the strings disappear and then try going high key on the levels adjustment to see what that affected. This is a picture that could be diced into parts for interesting results. If it were possible I'd have shifted the composition a bit to the right to eliminate the ceiling light

I agree with all of the observations made above. I would like to add that the darkness on the left side of the frame adds to the unbalanced feel.

I appreciate the comments above, but am not so troubled by the opposite planing of the rows in front. If the main subject was at the vanishing point of the rows, then I might think differently, bu the fact is that there are differences and not everything goes the same way and is uniform. I quite like the feeling of vastness that the foreground gives within the context - and can almost hear the silence. The slightly disturbing thing for me is that the horizon cuts the image in half, perhaps that would be a reason to crop a little from the bottom. Otherwise, tops.

Great. I like such fields! Sky is amazing!
Bowden added a critique 6 months ago:
WOW! the DOF (Depth of Field) is enhanced by the rows in the ground. Just beautiful.

Agree with most of what has been said already. I would have walked further in and tried a 2/3 sky - 1/3 land composition.

Cool! Love the detail of the grand wheel on the background... nice theme: seeing cirkels everywhere.
