I love the shadows. Fantastic!

Although I do really like the composition and placement of the two trees (like mother and child), I find the tree line on the left to be distracting (hate using that word, but don't know how else to put it). My eye really wants to know where the white space on the right side of the frame leads to...

I very much like the tones and subtle fogginess of the background sky.

I was up on a hill when I took this shot, and to get lower, I would have had to of gone closer (and traipsed through 2 feet of snow)
