Hey, thanks for your comment. This is hand held, and the buildings were meant to be the focal point, but I didn't want the fence out of focus...so I made sure I was far enough back to get the whole scene 'in focus.' But maybe that made it ALL look a bit less focused. ha. I noticed too, with it up here on the screen, that the horizon bugs me.
Thanks again!

Now that you're mentioning, the horizon is a bit tilted, but that didn't bother me at all (at least not until the moment you made me realize :))) - no, joking, it's not a problem for me :)

What camera did you use here?

Sorry, but I find the fence a bit distracting.

I have shots from around the fence, too. I thought this added to the 'industrial' theme, as it was a rugged fence. Thank you for your comment!

I like the shot through the fence, but it gave me the feeling that the buildings are prisons. (Perhaps that's what you meant to say with this picture :) Overall, it does have a very industry feel to it.

I especially envy your colours - not only here, but any of your shots here or at WS. Here, for example, the blues are awesome...
Not as if it was only the colors that deserve appraisal though.
What I lack a little maybe is a definite focal point. Might be beacuse of the relaitvely small image size that the buildings seem to be a bit out of focus as well as the chainlink fence.
But I like to look at a picture as a whole, so this is rather nitpicking mentioned onjly beacuse you asked for criticism :)
Handheld or tripod?
