Sorry, but I find the fence a bit distracting.
Ana (Ana Cortez) said 1 year ago:
I have shots from around the fence, too. I thought this added to the 'industrial' theme, as it was a rugged fence. Thank you for your comment!

tougth thing

I like the shot through the fence, but it gave me the feeling that the buildings are prisons. (Perhaps that's what you meant to say with this picture :) Overall, it does have a very industry feel to it.

Hey, thanks everyone. It was one of those nights I didn't want the sun to set. I chased it as long as I could...

This really looks like a fascinating building. I recall a similar post on your site.

Very nice Art Deco element. Still I will cut of the right window.

Almost missed it. Very subtle
forgingahead (Bob Foss) said 1 year ago:
You do have to look hard to see it, but it works.
Ana (Ana Cortez) said 1 year ago:
Well, I don't know if it works, but it was a fun shot!

Thanks! That was the one with the creepy hand I didn't know was there until I got the shot home and processed it...then I had to go back later to see if it was really there! It was!! ha ha.

Very nice. I like how the orange in the brick reflects the orange signs covering the windows.

Awe, Las Vegas. What a great shot.
Ana (Ana Cortez) said 1 year ago:
Indeed! Vegas! What a crazy place!
DaveMac (Dave MacIntyre) said 1 year ago:
This is my favourite hotel/casino design there. I'll be in that crazy place in May!
Lemmingstone (Peter) said 1 year ago:
Nice shot Ana. It is a "Big City" within a "Big City". I agree with Dave. Best place in Vegas. Go straight to "Nine Fine Irishmen" and drink the guiness.

Who would not enjoy that? Watching the big city, but in quiet peace. Great shot.
Ana (Ana Cortez) said 1 year ago:
Yeah, I love boating...my kind of thing.... and flying down the Chicago River, or out on Lake Michigan is the way I enjoy the city.
forgingahead (Bob Foss) said 1 year ago:
I remember this one! Nice perspective on the city.

I'm with Craig. This isn't how I pictured you, Ana. I don't know what I did think you looked like, but it wasn't this :)
Lemmingstone (Peter) said 1 year ago:
Very nice self portrait. Some great tones and a bit of mystery leave people wanting more. For those who are interested I am a very close mix of Brad Pitt, George Clooney and David Beckham. Hmm not quite.
bslomovic (Brant Slomovic) said 1 year ago:
Great intensity, great saturation and tone. Mysterious and passionate. As opposed to others, this image seems to parallel the personality I think I know from the many posts and comments here and on the WS. Really nice representation Ana.
charmarie (Char) said 1 year ago:
This picture looks very sinister and mysterious! I like it alot! The saturation is nice and really complients the picture!
philippe (Philippe Reichert) said 1 year ago:
What I like about this picture is its "trashy" look: harsh light, saturated colors, hair in the face, posture, provoking eye... Punk attitude!
What camera did you use here?
