Very nice shot, I like it.

Two points however :
- I'm not sure you had to include the black line at the bottom ;
- Groups are requested in this topic... ;-)

super-simple-sad.
just, please, put in the right box. i can not vote it rightheartedly, if it's paired with an other not as good pic as this but with people (group) on it.

Good idea, but it would have been much better that you could correct a bit the perspective, as the horizon line is not straight.
Moreover, as the viewer is attracted by the bottom of the pic, I find your signature a bit distracting here.

Looks pretty straight forward. What is manipulated here??

Very nicely done (the before and after is a good idea.)
It still isn't very manipulated?
More like processed??
I really like the results.
Well done.

Maybe a tiny, tiny levelled but it's a good night-shot, good-night shot:-))
I like the blue here...

AMPix (Anne-Marie Pilon) said 7 months ago:

Thank you Hanssie! Once again you've got the eye! This image was done 2 years ago in a trip to Amsterdam (the other photo you commented on ), Coppenhagen and a cruise on the Baltic Sea... Wonderfull part of the world!!!!

Is this in Amsterdam? The colors of the buildings and the composition of the shot are fantastic, but the bicycle is getting a little lost in shadow.

Hanssie (Hans Stellingwerf) said 7 months ago:

This is Amsterdam indeed, "my" city:-))
The details are there, the lampposts (and burning) and the bike of course. Maybe you could crop a little in the foreground, but the composition with the tree above is very nice done

Nice capture. I love the lighting. You caught the light how I'd envision it looking if I were there in person -- great exposure. I really enjoy pictures of average places. While there is nothing special about this place, the image is sweet.

Thanks Sealgmg2!

This is very interesting... the sky seems to be in colour, but the rest? Negative?

AMPix (Anne-Marie Pilon) said 9 months ago:

Hi Ana!

This is Infrared Photography... This explains the strange colors of the picture!

Ana (Ana Cortez) said 8 months ago:

Ah, I thought so, but the sky seemed to be natural.
Thanks!

Very good; this line not right. God continuation.

redcat77 (Agnes Milosz) said 10 months ago:

When I try infrared I always get a lot of noise. You can't notice it in this picture - very impressive! Well done!

AMPix (Anne-Marie Pilon) said 10 months ago:

Thanks you both for your comments! @ Redcat77: The picture is taken at 2.8 and 1/30 with a point and shoot Sony V3 handheld. You can see the original on my site when you Hoover the button "Before/After View" under the image:
