I sort of agree with Bastian, but there is something spontaneous about this shot that I really like. The puppy was obviously terribly curious about why you were doing this that he simply had(/stong> to check it out. Sure, not technically great, but captures a great moment.

I agree with Bastian. A little more space on the right and a flashlight to light up the dogs nose could solve this, I think. But the composition is great.

Very cute puppy. The low angle is a great touch. We all know how difficult it is to focus on a fast moving pup.

The background is more in focus than the dog, the actual subject of the photograph. Use a greater aperture (smaller number), and focus on the dog to make it stand out.
