I really like the composition and the expression as well as the details.
I would have added a little bit of contrast and of sharpenese to get a little more depth to the picture though.

Some good things here to be sure - the nose, however,is too dominant and takes away from the eyes - and these are some great eyes!

Amazing. Even with a neutral facial expression, there is so much expression in his face. You don't hear this so often, but I love the wrinkles! Good choice with the framing and the oblique composition.
