The idea was to have the body and the shadow in different poses. There were many variations of both and i combined them in PS. So that is a real shadow.

Oh, I know its a real shadow, what I meant was a shadow reflecting a different pose than the subject. Sorry for the confusion, probably a bad choice of terms. Nonetheless, great portrait.

There's a lot of texture to this image and I like the light, but for me, the shadowplay takes away from what otherwise would be an interesting portrait.

I really like this image. The B&W works great with the exposed brick wall and the use of faux-shadowing (if such a word exists) is creative and adds to showing the character of the subject. Well Done.
