I've been thinking about this picture for awhile now. I like the DOF. I even like the gloomy tonal quality. There are all of these lines leading me through the picture, which in theory is a good thing, but they are leading me to this fuzzy fence. The problem I'm having I guess is that I never really focus on the bench (the subject)Perhaps a different angle .. maybe lower or take a step to the left or right would help this image?

I definately see what you're talking about. There is something about this image I can't put my finger on myself. That's why I posted it. It just feels incomplete to me. I don't know what it is!! Very frustrating!! LoL :)
Thanks for the advice. I did crop this image so I can try to bring the benches into view more. I do like the lonely little leaf by itself.... but that's about it...I know I'm still missing something with this...

I hadn't noticed the lone leaf until you mentioned it. I like it too. Maybe if crop to the right of that leaf taking out the bridge and the majority of the water you can bring focus back into the image.
