I wasn't quite sure if I liked the shading around the leaf, but something was missing when i didn't have the shading, any thoughts?

This is a tough one to critique.
What do you mean by shading?
The only thing that distracts me a little is the shadow area on the leaf seems to be a bit to dark...
Other wise i think its great.

Sorry about shading, I wrote that in a hurry and didn't evn realize I had written shading, I mean the out of focus part around the leaf, I made it fuzzy on purpose and I was wondering if that enhance or took away from the photo....when I get a chance will try to lighten the shadows on the leaf, thanks for the comment!!

i think this photo is absolutely great!!
i love the colors and their tones.
and i just LOVE the definite shape of the leaf.
and i actually like that it is defined also by the darker shadows...becuase it is the subject and your eye is then immediately drawn to it.
