Nice lighting and angle. The figure here is very ghostlike.

snyper (Rui de Almeida Cardoso) added a critique 1 year ago:

Nice angle, bur the light inside the house is very strong. Its a very strong image

Love this.

TheAntipodes (Menno van Zaanen) added a critique 11 months ago:

I just love the path in this picture. It was unexpected (when I scrolled down to see the full picture) and it has a very nice texture. The light gives this picture a nice warm glow, whereas the path gives me the feeling of a wet and coldish night.

Wish image were more clean, seems it film photo. Good composition and idea.

Laurie (Laurie) added a critique 1 year ago:

Other than the bright spot on the right, which could be cropped out, I like this one. The quality isn't the best, but I cannot tell if this is a film scan or digital. I'm leaning toward it being a film scan. But I'm rarely right.

owenhaberf (Owen Haberfield) added a critique 1 year ago:

The quality of this image lets it down. It looks like a bad film scan to me. Otherwise I love it! I could see this in a tent manufacturer's brochure.

Topher (Christopher Mueller) added a critique 1 year ago:

Not much to add to the previous - I don't think the quality is that bad really. More than anything, I'd like to have seen the tent off-center. Unfortunate about all the light on the right, but great shot Suvir.

Great shot. For me it sums up the camping experience; escaping to the wilderness, away from the busyness of life to spend some time alone. Well done!

I think this is a great photo, I have a hard time with long exposure.

beckn32 (Kim Norton) added a critique 1 year ago:

Very nice. I really like the composition of your circle here and the negative space to the left of it. I especially like the little sparkles escaping out into the nothingness. Very nice.

uncommondepth (Roberta Murray) added a critique 1 year ago:

I find this a difficult image to critique because it is so well done. There is not much that can be said in the way of how you could have improved it. About all I can think of would be if it were slightly wider so more of the sparks were included in the frame (but I'm really stretching it here!). What amazes me is that the sparkler twirler made such a perfect oval!

mikeock (Mike Adams) added a critique 1 year ago:

First impression is that this is a spinning wheel of fireworks.
After really looking i realized it was a sparkler on a long shutter.
Very well done and I also like the left area being blank!

Very beautiful non conventional portrait.

dcrphotography (Daniel) said 1 year ago:

Strange and cool!

KerriDoodle (Kerri) said 1 year ago:

Oh my, is this a self portrait? The blank look on your? face kind of creeps me out - no offense!

Kudos on holding still - those eyes - so crisp yet empty, almost like a robot...!

The glare gives it a sci-fi look.

Then there, cheer, 30s of installation without a movement. It is the perfect model. Oups, you cut a finger to him. With the next one.

Beautiful Picture! Love the colors. I agree with Ian though it would be better without that ledge. But even with it, it's still an amazing picture!

right out of a dream!

sunside (Markus Mayer) added a critique 1 year ago:

I somehow feel that it's a pit too punchy in the colors; The upper left part seems a bit too crisp to me whereas the lower right part of the rock distracts me - but I guess it's a good shot nevertheless and I'm just jealous that I haven't been there. :)

I like it! It's quite fascinating. Well composed and nicely exposed.

sunside (Markus Mayer) added a critique 1 year ago:

Looks strange. The tower looks a bit too bright to me. An idea would be to take more than one exposure to get the stars into circles, combined with an exposure where that structure is exposed a bit softer. I can also imagine that one in black and white, since I find that blue light on the bottom somewhat distracting.

Faustina (Faustina Black) added a critique 1 year ago:

I agree. I think it's a great capture, but would be superb if you had given it a 2/3 second exposure. If you had that soft water quality I think it would be really special.

charmarie (Charmarie) added a critique 1 year ago:

I agree with the others I would love to see a softer effect.
