great! the river looks great! i would personally prefer the snow to be white, but nevetheless the subtle toning is eye-catching!

Mr Seguin, nice to see ya featured right next to me! We go way back... ;) Phantastic photo, the toning is seriously out of this world. I dig.

great photo! I like the dynamic, because of the long exposure and composition.

Really nice composition, I like the way the eye is being led! Nice how the waterfall is being reflected!!!
SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) added a critique 1 year ago:
I love the use of a longer exposure here on the waterfall. Overall, a well composed and very peaceful scene.
shivahuja (shiv ahuja) added a critique 1 year ago:
very well composed, love the effect of the water...
wondering if it might look better if it was cropped right till where the rocks begin,
the logs/sticks in the water are interfering with the surreal feel that the image has, just my 2cents though.

I don't think it could be improved on much! This is more of what I was trying to do with my shot at #81. This shot amply illustrates what the comments to my shot were saying about the effect of a longer exposure on the falling water. Beautiful.
charmarie (Charmarie) added a critique 1 year ago:
This image is very surreal! I love the effect the waterfall has and the glow it gives off the water from the sun!

I think this is alot going on in this shot. When I think of long exposure I think of soft lines, curves etc. A visual that allows my eye to follow easily. The contrast of colors are an interesting mix though.
SeekingFocus (Jason Langley) added a critique 1 year ago:
I'm not sure what I'm looking at, though I do like the multiple repeating images. I think a bit more of a crop to the right would be beneficial, even a square format situated around the circle of lights might work well.

I do like the abstract nature of this photo, but I agree with previous comments that I'm a bit lost in it. Sometimes with these sorts of "flash and jiggle" photographs, it helps to have one thing in focus to sort of anchor the composition.
SUBJEKTIV (Sigrid Kleinecke & Kurt Tutschek) added a critique 1 year ago:
hmm - i have to agree with the comments above: lots going on, but the eye cannot find a place to rest. It's an interesting and unusual image though.

Nice! I like the color, but is little tight from top in my view. What were the exposure settings for this one?
