I like the composition, although the boat (?) in the water is a bit distracting. The exposure doesn't seem quite right to me - the path seems overexposed...looks like very tricky lighting conditions. I wish the lighthouse at the end of the path (pier?) were more clear.

I agree about the boat, just a little clone brush could take care of that in no time.

I love the threatening sky, it really adds to the feeling of emptiness I think.

If anything I might crop some of the bottom out. (not a ton 50-75px.) I think the brightness of the path with how much of the space it occupies distracts me from the openness of the scene.

I really am in awe of the depth and how it carries through to the foreground and eventual vanishing point of the image. The lightness graduating to darkness gives it a wonderful atmosphere...almost foreboding, but not really. Impressive work!
