Very interesting shot.
I like the treatment here to give it this almost monochromatic look.
Great job!

Another great derelict.
For once, I like the frame (usually I'm dead against them, but this time, it works)

Good capture! The only critiques I'd suggest are the overcast skies in the upper left corner and half-cut H in the bottom; tighter crop on the left would help it. I like how square crop works here.
JBridges (Jim Bridges) said 5 months ago:
The funny thing is I originally had it cropped a bit more to almost entirely get rid of the H on the license plate--and I am not entirely sure why I reverted back. (I think part of it was just wanting to give the "winged lady" on the hood a bit of breathing room on the left side.)

Great shot. I guess you applied some desaturation here. It certainly goes well with the weather. This square crop works well indeed.

the cropping is perfect
i love the rain
the car seems like its almost overexposed but not...
just right.

Nice one. Is it an old conventional one wich you made digital with a scanner?
Timing and fast-moving objects are difficult, but I would prefer more if the whole scene moved a bit to the left, so that the rickshaw is completely visible and the stairs and plants are hided. imo the stairs and plants are unnecessary in this scene, it makes it busy.
Nice structure of the tree, btw.

Dave Marcis crashing in a NASCAR race in 1975. I know it's soft, but brings back lot's of memories for me.

I like the subject.
To me it feels like the car needs to be just a bit sharper.

j'aime l'effet vieille diapo et le reflet. moins le cadrage, j'aurais recule un peu plus pour avoir le début de l'autre aile ne entier.
mrsmorunion (Tammy Runion) said 5 months ago:
There were so many other cars that it was difficult to get a shot like that without getting too much clutter in the background. That's why I opted to get just the front fin.
Thanks!
Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 5 months ago:
I understand your problems with this type of environment, I have been to several car shows and it is difficult. But, that said, this composition does feel cramped and awkward. The bottom and the tail pipes bother me more that the upper left. Maybe you could just focus on the one fin and the emblem on the quarter panel, i.e. go even tighter.
HuubL added a critique 5 months ago:
Pity for the cropped left backwing. But I love that star effect of the highlight on the bumper. BTW, I'm not a fan of these casual digital frames.
mrsmorunion (Tammy Runion) said 5 months ago:
Thank you HuubL, I did try this photo without the frame and didn't like it as well. It was so sunny that day and I was playing around with that start filter on all those shiny paint jobs!

Now that's a car!! And a great car shot!! Very nicely done.
An old, abandoned tourist van sitting in the lane where I live, got me curious. Dirt, cobweb, rust and neglect. All portrayed here. Kindly comment please!
