This might benefit from some "film grain" too? Have you tried Nik Software's Silver FX Pro??

Clyde, life is weird, isn't it :-) ... this was shot with film (Ilford HP5+ @ 400), developed in Perceptol (1+0) and scanned (Canon 8800f). Lack of grain is because this is another experiment with my new (to me) Mamiya 645pro. I like your idea of a square framing, thanks for your feedback.

Hi Boyd, nice almost abstract image. I like it. I would have cropped a bit more off the left to miss the edge of the pole just peeking in over there. Maybe all the way to a square??
