Thank you for your comments and critiques. I guess I see more in the photo because I was there. This wasn't actually my subject that night, I was photographing a building behind me. This is my husband waiting near by for me to finish up. He was reading his electronic book and I thought it was cool how his face was slightly lit up. I also liked the row of cars and felt it led you deeper into the photo, I suppose it would have been better if there had been someone walking at the other end or a cat or something there of interest. I felt the over all feeling of this photo was mysterious, if he had been lit up any more then he wouldn't have been mysterious. Then again, maybe he's brighter on my screen than on others. Anyway, I appreciate your comments, thank you. :-)

I am, too, drawn to the car. Your husband seems to jump out from the shadows. The light you mention is not very clear to me, I only noticed it after you mentioned it. Perhaps that's because the light of the street light is so strong.

LoL! Tell your husband I'm sorry! I thought he was picking out which car he wanted! Oh that left me tickled! I see what you were going for but it got so mysterious I thought he was a thief! He he!

Damo (Damo) added a critique 9 months ago:

I think you should tout this to the council, for car crime posters, its excellent ! :)

TammyLynn (Tammy) said 9 months ago:

LoL, thanks Damo. :-D

HaHa @ PhotoDaniels! I'll be sure to tell him!

Thanks for all your comments guys, really appreciated. :-)

Espectacular. Enhorabuena. Saludos.

I like much the prospect given. Damage for this perturbing light in the first-plan. Like juantonio, the character gives the geometry of the staircase. Your B&W is strong, as I like them. Greetings.

Jolie photo !

juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 9 months ago:

As often, I like your very contrasted B&W, which emphasizes the matter photographed. Your framing is interesting and is well calculated, in any case for the setting in front of these shades surealists. At the next time.

I think I meant to say "classic." Heh... either way, I like it.

Very nice, great variety of tones. I think the text on the sign seems a little out of place though. I think it would be more powerful cropped so we could only see the architecture, leaving us wondering a bit about what the structure is.

All in all, however, it's a great image which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

Pixim (Eric) added a critique 9 months ago:

Very beautiful management of the light, certainly another framing would have been interesting, but the conditions of catch of sight were to be difficult. I like your B&W. Greetings.

I like the composition. Unfortunately the person on the left disturbs a bit the serious taste of that scene and pushes it to be a funny picture, it dont really deserve that. Cover him with your left hand and you know what I mean. my 2 cents.cheers
