I am a big carousel horse fan, so I like it. Nicely done.

Small curve adjustment(in ps3) plus unsharp mask bring more presence. All youre photo so far are very good with sligth adjustment

Great picture...

I like getting lost in the motion; I feel like I'm riding the horse.

This is my favorite shot of all I've seen so far in this topic. This makes me feel as if I'm there ~ and I love the dizzying effect.

Excellent !!! What a beautiful curve ! The cloudy sky is perfect as a background. Great one !

Pixim (Eric) said 11 months ago:

That likes a spinal column, very impressive. When I see your exifs (focal 18mm) I ask for myself the context of your catch of sight. Good shotting. Greetings.

Heath (Heath Carney) said 11 months ago:

Thanks guys.
Eric - not sure if this is what you mean by 'the context of your catch of sight'? But basically, I just wandered around beneath this roller coaster (The Corkscrew at Australia's Sea World) looking for the widest span of track that I could find without any support columns or other background intrusions.

A whirling flame--detail shows depth but looks like a flower! Our ferris wheels are so boring... :~)))

I believe the Black and White gives it a nostalgic look. Great job.

mikeock (Mike Adams) added a critique 1 year ago:

Very nice shot.
I do like the Black and white. It really seems fitting for this subject.
I do like the inclusion of the person as it adds a bit of perspective to how big the rides actually are.

Shay (Shay L) added a critique 1 year ago:

The black and white is great for this photo. I think if this had been done in color, it would have been too busy. Especially with having that person there.

photo24 (Sven H.) added a critique 1 year ago:

it doesnt need color. color version seen so many times. minor: they guy with the cam disturbs me a bit.

Just thought I'd like to apologize for flooding the amusement part theme, but the Arizona State Fair is on here right now and I've been generating new fodder from day to day and it's pretty hard to show restraint; I've got 'new' lenses (1946) and cameras to try out. Anyway, enjoy!
