Welcome to Vazaar, jcniguez. It is a very nice photo. Where is this place?

This is one of the many abandoned linen factories in Zyrardow, Poland.

For technical details see here.

Old theme.

jonathanpatt (Jonathan Patt) added a critique 1 year ago:

I love the greens and the tone of the stone.

socketless added a critique 1 year ago:

I agree with Beamer. The foreground is a little overpowering. But it's a lovely shot nonetheless.

Bastian (Bastian Löhrer) added a critique 1 year ago:

cropping the bottom should improve the image to a great extend.
I love the colors!

Ana (Ana Cortez) said 1 year ago:

It certainly fits the topic, but it's so tightly framed, that I feel like I'm missing a whole lot of the shot.

Afoklala (Jan Willem van Dormolen) said 1 year ago:

I understand what you mean. That was deliberate, the building itself was not so interesting, and I wanted to focus on the disusedness/unuseability (do those words exist?) of the thing.

Bit chilly in winter... :-)

BTW, this is in the southwest of France, near Angoulème.

circles of light are distracting to me, but I love the macro of the chain link

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) added a critique 1 year ago:

This is VERY nice. I would also put it in the Abstract topic as well.

boyd added a critique 1 year ago:

I agree with Clyde on this one. The very shallow dof works very well, and I'm wondering what was in the background to cause your bokeh to make those circles of light. Very nicely seen and beautifully composed and executed. Well done.

Beamer (Clyde Beamer) said 1 year ago:

Very nice one, I like the treatment. I might have cropped a little of the right to loose the dark edge and the boxes leaning at the bottom.

Merci Olivier, me alegro que esta composición le haya gustado asi como el ambiente conseguido. Saludos

juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 1 year ago:

Thanks Clyde por su comentario, me alegro que le haya gustado el tratamiento empleado en esta composición. No me percaté en los elementos del lado derecho tal y como usted comenta, considero que tiene razón aunque creo que no influye demasiado en el resto del trabajo. Saludos

bigoode (Anthony le Bourlier) said 1 year ago:

like this a lot
exept the sky effects because "too much" and distract me from the subject

juanantonio (J.A. Pellicer) said 1 year ago:

Según mi traductor, el tratamiento fuerte del cielo le distrae del sujeto Anthony. Si es así entiendo lo que me quiere decir y agradezco mucho el haber reparado en mi fotografia y por supuesto el haber parado a comentarla. Saludos
