It is a fantastic image and it deserves being featured, but do you know, what I would love to see? How would this look like, if you would clon out the bars? I would love to see all those "people" fly throught the sky.

Only you could do the idea justice :)

Okay, I will do it for myself ... but nobody will ever learn ...

NIce..fits the surreal topic. I don't care for the cyan tone.

I kind of want to see this in B&W. :)
Great photography regardless, though.
Very interesting to look at.

Whilst this is a wonderful photo, I can't help feeling that you are plagiarising someone else's art. Regardless of how you present this, it's not your own work, and you are gaining recognition from their ingenuity.

I like this a lot. It is reminiscent of Magritte's "Golconde" although clearly not the same. This photo hits the topic on the mark. Well done.

psychodudu - I think that plagiarism is a very strong word, I'd agree that the photo shouldn't be displayed without a credit to the performance group, and if you look on my site you'll find a reference to
"Strange Fruit performing at Galway Arts Festival 2005"
under the photo.
You may also note a very positive comment from Sian Francis one of the people in the photo. www.pygment.com/blog/2006/02/04/arts-festival/
It's an interesting argument but where could you draw the line. If you took a photo of a building should you not credit the Architect?
I've done my best to ensure that the work isn't displayed without due credit to me and the originators of the piece.
aloha - Yes, very much in the vain of René Magritte.

I thought there would be a good reason why you had chosen to put it up. Please accept my apologies.

Accepted you did bring up a very good point.
