You have really brought out all the texture of the skin in this one, she really looks like a person with quite a character.

Portrait of a chinese centennial lady in Luoyang, China. The pride she wore captivated me. She suffered an ancient practice: foot binding in order to avoid feet development. Despite she didn't show shame at all and as a sign of deep respect, I decided not to put her tiny feet on the frame.
