It s a great movement you ve captured here although the processing really makes it look to unreal IMO.

Initially, I felt the same way about the lighting, Clyde. But if you go for a more standard lighting treatment...I think you're left with something more ordinary and less special and less thought provoking. I kept returning to this photo because the light was so puzzling to me.

It looks a bit unnatural imo... and with that I do not mean the man's body position. ;) I wonder how you made this one. It looks like you took a photo of the man and you pasted a plain black background behind him.
A thing I really do like is the details of the muscles, vaines and ribs, made by the striking light.
