Maybe you could have been add something what showes the scale, like the other photo you took in central Turkey? Though I've been there, still I have troubles with deciding how big the terraces on you photo are.
I like the angle you used. It's show the stalactites well.

I too have trouble with the composition of this one. The subjects are wonderful, I just don't think your composition show them off very well. The drama and surprise of your other one is missing here. Maybe a higher angle to show the tops of the terraces, I assume they have hot water in them. This would show the context better and perhaps create a more dramatic composition.

I actually like the fact that you can't tell how big this is - leaves something to the imagination.

Pamukkale terraces gone dry. Taken at Pamukkale, central Turkey. These terraces are famous for their hot water springs, supposed to have healing properties.
