i think it's a strong image. i like the contrast of it, especially the dark eyes of the child. the cord behind is perfectly placed.

I love the repetition here with the four poles in the foreground. Also, the haze throughout creates a wonderful atmosphere.

I think this pictures has good potential but the subject is out of focus so the great colors and lost.

I like the subject. It's graceful and delicate and the tones are pretty...but it's not sharp enough.

I think this is just great... For me the blur fits well with the "fluffiness" of the subject... and I really like the colors and tones here.

This would probably fit better in a "blur" topic. When I think of Shallow DOF, I look for something to be in focus as well as out of focus. (There's not much, if anything, that's in focus here.)

I really, really like how there's that dark swath in the background that perfectly crosses past the brightly lit subject... makes it "pop" nicely.
