Great capture with wonderful saturated tones; the only minor critique I might have would be with composition; for some reason I feel it would be stronger if the subject were more towards the right side of the frame.
chasewhittemore (Chase Whittemore) added a critique 1 year ago:
I am going to agree with Eli and say that the subject would be really well placed on the right side of the frame. The reflection is also an interesting piece to this picture, though I wish the main subject did not bare down so hard on the reflection.
This is just me trying to give constructive criticism here. I think the image is very well down.
Is that a turtle shell?

Wonderful shot, I like the way she's holding the bread and the bright colors within !

Great one philippe! I love it!!

Thank you guys for the comments. I had made this one for the "shallow DOF" theme but I didn't post it and I thought it would fit in this theme too...

Is he lonely or just deep in thought? I don't know about solitude - he's surrounded by too much stuff.

This was shot on Provia 100 - Medium Format with my Yashica 124G and cross processed.
VernonTrent (Vernon Trent) said 1 year ago:
haha
the "provia red lips" :) on this red you can recognize the provia.
duncmc (Duncan McMillan) said 1 year ago:
I thought this was cross processed. The lips are very striking. Nice effect. Note to self - must get back into analogue.

I like this one - it's an unusual composition.
chasewhittemore (Chase Whittemore) said 1 year ago:
I like this one, the lines in the cement do it for me. Though I wish there was more color in the car. Maybe cropping it out into its own layer and bumb-ing up the saturation a little.
mikko (Mikko Huotari) said 1 year ago:
good composition. perhaps a bit cleaner floor would work better...

I really like the feel of this picture. My insides say I am looking out into the dusk that is poring over the water towards my sea side house. Very good, emotional picture.
